Usap is designed to be privacy-friendly. All of your data stays on your device. We collect the following types of information:

• Learning progress — Words learned, mastery levels, spaced repetition data, session history, and streak information. This is stored locally on your device only.
• Subscription status — Your current plan (free or premium) and subscription state, managed by Apple or Stripe depending on your platform.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers unless you voluntarily contact us.

Your learning data is used entirely on your device for the following purposes:

• Personalization — Tailoring your learning experience based on your progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Progress tracking — Saving your learning data so you can pick up where you left off between sessions.

All of your learning progress and preferences are stored locally on your device using browser localStorage or app storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

If you clear your browser data or delete the app, your learning progress will be permanently deleted.

Usap integrates with the following third-party services for payment processing only, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Stripe — Used to securely process subscription payments on the web. We do not store your payment card details; Stripe handles all payment information directly.
• Apple App Store — Used for in-app purchases on iOS. These transactions are processed directly by Apple.

We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

Your data is shared only with payment processors (Stripe or Apple) as necessary to complete subscription transactions. We do not share any other data with anyone.

Usap is designed to be suitable for learners of all ages. We do not display advertising or engage in behavioral tracking.

Since Usap does not collect personal information and all data is stored locally on the device, there is minimal privacy risk for users of any age. Our practices comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete your learning progress by clearing your browser data or deleting the app.

We do not retain any user data on our servers.

Since your data is stored entirely on your device, you already have full access to and control over it. You can delete all data at any time by clearing your browser storage or uninstalling the app.
